Garden Engagement Pictures

Washington Oaks Gardens State Park has a beautiful green landscape. The Beach and Garden are great for engagement pictures. Typically, we will photograph couples in the garden first. After that we’ll head on over to the beach to catch the sunset. We recommend planning your engagement session during the spring so you can get the flowers and roses in bloom. Additionally, when you book for the spring you can plan to avoid some of the Florida heat!

Beach Engagement Pictures

When planning your engagement session we take note of when the sunsets. Its very important to note when scheduling photoshoots. Especially because who doesn’t want beautiful engagement pictures with a Florida sunset lighting the sky. The natural colors of a sunset help being pictures to life. Additionally, we were lucky enough to see a rainbow while at the beach photographing this happy couple.

Silhouette Engagement Pictures

Sunsets and silhouettes are one of our favorite combos! The high contrast and vibrant colors make everyone smile. They might not technically be the easiest, but they’re worth it. And we’ve taken many throughout our years as photographers!

Engagement Picture Inspiration

While you scroll through this post take note of the different poses. We like to diversify our photos by changing up the poses. Variety is important! Also, it is important to get inspiration from your location. For example, if there is a cute doorway or fence try leaning against it. Using your surroundings to your advantage can improve your pictures.

Washington Oaks Gardens State Park

Washington Oaks Gardens State Park is located in Palm Coast, Florida. It is one of our favorite locations for engagement pictures. This is because of the beautiful garden and beach access. We love the park’s koi pond and bridge, gazebo, rose garden, all of the greenery and more. To see more engagement pictures at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park click HERE.

However, this state park is great for more than just engagement pictures. We have photographed an elopement, families, and maternity sessions at the state park. It offers a wide range of colorful backgrounds for pictures.
