Justin and Melissa had a fabulous engagement session in St Augustine, Florida. Jerry had a great time photographing them around historic downtown and Vilano Beach.
We designed a really cool signature guest book with some of their favorite pictures. These are some of the photo layouts used in the custom album which was a big hit at their wedding reception.
Wow how time flies! We can’t believe the first month of 2013 is already over with! This first month was wonderful and we can’t wait to see what is in store for the rest of the year.
Home improvement projects, Karen’s birthday, and a very special event shoot rounded out the rest of our month. We hope you had a wonderful January!
Jerry had a fun engagement session with Holly and Daniel in St. Augustine. They went on a mini-tour of some of our favorite spots in St. Augustine for photos.
Isn’t this path just beautiful? We love the trees with the Spanish moss hanging, giving a true Southern feel to photos. Holly and Daniel couldn’t stop holding hands and smiling. We absolutely love this time in a couple’s life together.
A perfect sentiment for a couple about to be married. Daniel serenaded Holly with his guitar, which is something she really loves.
Holly did a great job coordinating their wardrobe for the engagement session, giving them complimentary colors and styles. She looked gorgeous in this cool sea foam top.
We wrapped up the engagement session with one of Holly and Daniel’s favorite activities – fishing! The sweet couple enjoys spending time on the water and we live in the perfect place for that!
A kiss to end the evening is our favorite!
Jerry also created a fusion video of their engagement session. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Thank you for including us in your special life moments, Holly and Daniel, we can’t wait til your wedding!

We love the urban feel of Downtown Jacksonville. It makes a dynamic setting for photography, so we were glad when Sheena and Sam wanted to have their engagement pictures downtown.
Jerry started out with the couple at the Prime Osborn Convention Center, where the columns make a dramatic backdrop. Sheena and Sam were all smiles right from the start, and we love how comfortable they were in front of the camera.
Sheena and Sam are having a Summer wedding in Tallahassee, which is exactly 100 days from today!
Sam proposed to Sheena at the restaurant where they first met, and had their families waiting to surprise her after she said “Yes!”. They have a very endearing love story and we were so glad to be able to capture their love.
Don’t you just love Sheena’s sexy smile? Sam sure thinks she’s absolutely radiant.
After the Prime Osborn, Jerry took the couple to Memorial Park as the sun was just starting to set.
We love their connection with each other and they are a pleasure to photograph!
We designed and printed their custom engagement announcement, a 5×7 photo card, as well as a charming 4×5 “Save-the-Date” card with magnet using delightful photos of the happy couple during their engagement session.
Sheena and Sam – thank you for a wonderful day of shooting and we can’t wait until your wedding!

February is one of our favorite months. The last bits of winter around us, the feeling of love is in the air, and Spring is right around the corner.
We also had great times with our family, and made some wonderful memories. We’re so excited for Spring to be upon us! What are you most looking forward to in March?
Brittany and Chris spent a couple of hours with Jerry in downtown St. Augustine and Vilano beach for their engagement pictures. You can see from their expressions how happy they are with each other and their love is so bright.
Brittany and Chris are from the same town in Georgia and met after college. Their first date was at 4:45 am at the gym and then coffee afterwards!
Chris proposed to Brittany during a very special dinner at Bonefish Grill. We asked Brittany for the details of this special day, and she shared with us what happened after they had eaten their dinner and decided to order dessert:
When the dessert arrived, it had a candle and some writing on the plate. I read on the plate, ‘Will You Marry Me’. It took me several seconds to understand and process what was happening. Finally, I see Chris grab something shiny from the plate and get down on one knee. It was then that I had realized my dream was coming true. I was going to marry my best friend.
We love the colors Brittany chose for her outfits – she looked beautiful! And the teal and coral colors match their beach themed wedding as they wanted something fun, modern and perfect for a refreshing summer wedding.
Brittany and Chris – we cannot wait to photograph your wedding in July! Thanks for sharing this special time with us.

Amanda and Ryan were all smiles throughout the engagement session, and it’s always a pleasure to capture the happiness of a relationship.
Looking for something a little different for your engagement session? How about adding video fusion – a combination of video clips and photos from your engagement session. You can even incorporate the video as part of your Save the Dates!
Our last instagram post of 2012! This year has been amazing for Favorite Photography, and this last month proved no different!
As you can see lots of fun filled our December! We loved all of our weddings and family sessions!
We had quite a few newborn sessions, and being around new life always brings joy! We created a lot of canvas gallery wraps for Christmas presents, and know how happy they made the recipients.
If we could have one wish for 2013 it is that all of the good from this past year could be multiplied for this next year! Best wishes to you and yours!
We hope you love this video fusion of the colorful holiday lights at Jacksonville’s Friendship Fountain!
We’re so excited to share the story of Katy and Bryan today. Recently celebrating their one year wedding anniversary, they scheduled a love session to commemorate the happiness this past year has brought them.
Katy and Bryan have worked with us since their engagement session, and we thought it would be wonderful to reflect on the past year with them; so we’re sharing some of our favorite images from their engagement, wedding, and anniversary sessions!
First, we’re going to let Katy and Bryan introduce themselves with their video fusion. Video fusion is a great way to add something extra to your engagement or wedding package.
Aren’t they just the cutest together?
For their love session we went to the beautiful Alpine Groves Park in St. Johns. They wore complimentary colors which matched their happiness during the session.
It’s so hard to pick our favorite images when we have a couple who truly embodies the happy feelings which love brings. Katy and Bryan know how to tease each other and be silly, and their affection for each other comes through in all of their photos.
Now to look back and celebrate their wedding day. As you heard in the video, Katy and Bryan held their wedding ceremony and reception on 11-11-11 at the Embassy Suites Jacksonville – Baymeadows.
The Embassy Suites in Jacksonville offers beautiful indoor ceremonies with plenty of unique Mediterranean architectural details and lush tropical atrium to give your wedding photos character.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom were all smiles as they walked down the aisle. The moment they had been planning had finally arrived and they could bask in the joy of calling each other “husband” and “wife”.
Katy made such a beautiful bride (and Bryan cleaned up quite nicely as well). Katy’s smile warmed up the room when she walked in, and you couldn’t help but be as excited as she was.
And don’t you just love the rock fountain background!
Katy and Bryan celebrated the night away and gave special memories for all of their guests. We can’t believe it has already been a year since we photographed their beautiful wedding!
And we will wrap up our look at Katy and Bryan’s journey with their engagement session. We visited the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum and had a fun time exploring the different areas of the location. There’s a lot of history there, and whether it’s for a photo session or an outing with your family, we recommend you check it out!
This is our favorite image from the session. We love the background and how naturally happy they look together.
The boats made for a great backdrop!
Katy and Bryan, thank you for being our clients through your important steps in life. We can’t wait to see what life brings you next!
Jerry had a great time with Matt and Cara in Jacksonville’s Downtown and Riverside areas. The love this couple shares for each other can truly be seen in these engagement photos.
We always enjoy a good proposal story and asked the bride-to-be to share how her fiancé popped the question! Cara gave us their scoop:
