Ashley and Jamie traveled down from West Virginia to have their St Augustine engagement photography session in our beautiful, historic downtown. I enjoyed photographing the happy couple around Flager, Lightner Museum, Casa Monica and charming side streets throughout St Augustine. They are looking forward to their dream wedding this week in sunny Palm Coast, Florida. Jerry and I are so excited to be photographing their special day at the extraordinary Hammock Beach Resort.
The letter ‘H’ was a great prop to incorporate into some pictures of the soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Hamilton. Ashley also brought a metal ampersand “&”, a cute “I will always love you” sign, and a burlap flag “She Said Yes” banner for unique and fun and romantic photos.

Devin and Ashley will be getting married in exactly one month at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. We thought it would be a great time to reflect back on their stunning engagement session photographed by Jerry at the Zoo.
As the umbrellas might give an indication, it was certainly raining on the day of the photo shoot, though it didn’t dampen their spirits.
Ashley and Devin are amazing and we just love their smiles! The rain added an intimate and romantic feel to their engagement photos. Check out this cool giraffe trying to stay dry under some palm trees. And the carousel brought out their wild side…

Justin and Melissa had a fabulous engagement session in St Augustine, Florida. Jerry had a great time photographing them around historic downtown and Vilano Beach.
We designed a really cool signature guest book with some of their favorite pictures. These are some of the photo layouts used in the custom album which was a big hit at their wedding reception.
Wow how time flies! We can’t believe the first month of 2013 is already over with! This first month was wonderful and we can’t wait to see what is in store for the rest of the year.
Home improvement projects, Karen’s birthday, and a very special event shoot rounded out the rest of our month. We hope you had a wonderful January!
Jerry had a fun engagement session with Holly and Daniel in St. Augustine. They went on a mini-tour of some of our favorite spots in St. Augustine for photos.
Isn’t this path just beautiful? We love the trees with the Spanish moss hanging, giving a true Southern feel to photos. Holly and Daniel couldn’t stop holding hands and smiling. We absolutely love this time in a couple’s life together.
A perfect sentiment for a couple about to be married. Daniel serenaded Holly with his guitar, which is something she really loves.
Holly did a great job coordinating their wardrobe for the engagement session, giving them complimentary colors and styles. She looked gorgeous in this cool sea foam top.
We wrapped up the engagement session with one of Holly and Daniel’s favorite activities – fishing! The sweet couple enjoys spending time on the water and we live in the perfect place for that!
A kiss to end the evening is our favorite!

We love the urban feel of Downtown Jacksonville. It makes a dynamic setting for photography, so we were glad when Sheena and Sam wanted to have their engagement pictures downtown.
Jerry started out with the couple at the Prime Osborn Convention Center, where the columns make a dramatic backdrop. Sheena and Sam were all smiles right from the start, and we love how comfortable they were in front of the camera.
Sheena and Sam are having a Summer wedding in Tallahassee, which is exactly 100 days from today!
Sam proposed to Sheena at the restaurant where they first met, and had their families waiting to surprise her after she said “Yes!”. They have a very endearing love story and we were so glad to be able to capture their love.
Don’t you just love Sheena’s sexy smile? Sam sure thinks she’s absolutely radiant.
After the Prime Osborn, Jerry took the couple to Memorial Park as the sun was just starting to set.
We love their connection with each other and they are a pleasure to photograph!
We designed and printed their custom engagement announcement, a 5×7 photo card, as well as a charming 4×5 “Save-the-Date” card with magnet using delightful photos of the happy couple during their engagement session.

February is one of our favorite months. The last bits of winter around us, the feeling of love is in the air, and Spring is right around the corner.
As you can see, our month was filled with happy couples, new business materials, and some beyond adorable newborns!
We also had great times with our family, and made some wonderful memories. We’re so excited for Spring to be upon us! What are you most looking forward to in March?
Brittany and Chris spent a couple of hours with Jerry in downtown St. Augustine and Vilano beach for their engagement pictures. You can see from their expressions how happy they are with each other and their love is so bright.
Brittany and Chris are from the same town in Georgia and met after college. Their first date was at 4:45 am at the gym and then coffee afterwards!
Chris proposed to Brittany during a very special dinner at Bonefish Grill. We asked Brittany for the details of this special day, and she shared with us what happened after they had eaten their dinner and decided to order dessert:
When the dessert arrived, it had a candle and some writing on the plate. I read on the plate, ‘Will You Marry Me’. It took me several seconds to understand and process what was happening. Finally, I see Chris grab something shiny from the plate and get down on one knee. It was then that I had realized my dream was coming true. I was going to marry my best friend.
We love the colors Brittany chose for her outfits – she looked beautiful! And the teal and coral colors match their beach themed wedding as they wanted something fun, modern and perfect for a refreshing summer wedding.
