University of South Florida Grad Photographer
Florida is filled with some of the top universities, and more students than we can count. When the end of the Fall and Spring semesters roll around then we know it’s time for grad pictures. This blog pictures are from when Katie graduated from USF! Go Bulls!!!
We love to consider ourselves Grad Photographers, and love shooting at all Florida universities! As a University of South Florida Grad Photographer we pride ourselves in knowing the best places to take grad pictures. Also, it is just as important that we know a variety of fun poses!
Cool off from the Florida Heat
Most people would know that Florida is known for its hot summers. This means that Spring Grad Pictures are a great opportunity to have seniors hop into a pond for pictures. Firstly, it is a fun way to get big smiles. Secondly, it allows the seniors to cool off from the Florida heat.
Grad Pictures with Friends
Graduation pictures are all about remembering one of the most important times in your life. What better way to remember the good old days then to have your best friends be in the pictures. Many grads choose to have a select amount of friends be in their grad pictures.
Grad Picture Pose Ideas
As a University of South Florida Grad Photographer, we know just how important it is for each picture to be unique. Composition and posing are two of the easiest ways to diversify a photoshoot. When there is only one subject, it is important to play with props. Grad pictures are perfect because grads can use their cap and gowns as props. For example, an iconic graduation pose is of the student throwing their cap into the sky. This symbolizes them graduating and moving onto the next steps in their life.

UCF Twin Sisters Graduation Pictures
Congratulations are in order for these twin sisters who graduated from UCF together! Keep scrolling to see these UCF Twin Sisters Graduation Pictures, and all of the fun poses! There are always a few timeless pictures when photographing graduation pictures, but it’s fun to spice it up!
“Look Over Your Shoulder”
A simple instruction to say is “look over your shoulder.” First of all, this is easy for someone who’s not use to getting their picture taken. Second, it allows for a variety of pictures. Finally, it’s fun! Generally it is important to make sure that the posing direction is clear and helpful to the subject.
Play Around with Cropping
How a picture is cropped helps with the aesthetic. You can fill the frame with your subject or choose to leave negative space around them. Negative space is a helpful tool to help add balance or simplicity to a photo. Also, it is important to use the Rule of Thirds when cropping pictures. Keep the subjects in the center or off to the side. For example, in these UCF Twin Sisters Graduation Pictures we made sure to have some pictures tight on their faces and others that are zoomed out to show the background. This can be done when taking the graduation pictures or while editing.
Classic Champagne Pop
It’s time to celebrate!!! Graduating from University is a major accomplishment, and it’s important to celebrate with some bubbly. The iconic UCF Reflection Pond is the perfect place to take graduation pictures.
Additionally, these two UCF twin sisters wanted to take some pictures together as well as separate. They popped some champagne together and individually. All of the pictures are filled with life and movement. As shown above, the pictures that are always the most eye catching to us here are Favorite Studios. Sarah + Drew’s Senior Pictures
This couple shot their senior pictures with us. They posed separate and together. The couple even brought their own props! We went to downtown St. Augustine to capture these senior portraits. In addition we’ve shot a ballerina in downtown as well. As St. Augustine Senior Photographers we love to see how one location can be shot in so many ways.
St. Augustine Senior Photographer
St. Augustine is known for its historic fort. Therefore, the happy seniors posed at the historic Matanzas Fort. Sarah is a proud knight showing off her acceptance to UCF!!! We absolutely love this UCF flag as props for Sarah’s senior portraits. During our senior sessions we love seeing students who bring fun props. They add so much to the shoots.
Go Gators! Go Knights! One couple two colleges. And one classic St. Augustine Senior Photographer.
We love all the unique spots in downtown. For example we love the classic red gate. Similarly we love the lively marina.
After downtown St. Augustine we took a trip to the marina. Last but not least, we are proud to call ourselves St. Augustine Senior Photographers!

Hannah Favorite’s Jacksonville Senior Photos
First of all, Hannah is our daughter and our employee. Shooting her senior photos was such a proud moment. Secondly, it is crazy how our little girl has grown up so fast. We are so honored to have captured this important time in her life.
We added a natural aspect to this Jacksonville shoot by shooting at Treaty Oak Park.
Urban Themed Senior Pictures
After all that nature Hannah wanted to add some contrast. Hannah edited a Jacksonville engagement shoot. The photos gave her the amazing idea to do her senior pictures in downtown Jacksonville, Florida with all of the vibrant murals.
Finding the perfect pose for any picture is hard. However, Hannah made posing on stairs look easy.
How are these cute steps? Above all we loved adding these industrial steps to break up all the color.
We saw this blue wall and just had to capture it! We love how these tumblr Senior Photos are filled with color.
Graduation Announcement Cards
As a mother and daughter team we designed Hannah’s graduation announcement cards. Seniors have been sending announcements out to family for decades. Her cards were more modern, but we can design all kinds of custom cards from graduation to save the date cards.
We had the great opportunity of shooting Chloe’s St Augustine senior pictures.
Ballerina | St Augustine Senior Pictures | Chloe is a talented dancer with St Augustine Dance Academy
These are just a few of our favorite photos! During the photo shoot we walked around downtown Saint Augustine and around the Lightner Museum. She had two different outfits that express her life as a ballerina and a student graduating from high school.
Jerry and Karen Favorite always enjoy shooting senior sessions, but this one was particularly wonderful. Chloe has a natural, relaxed personality mixed in with dedication and great pose. Love those pointe ballet shoes and adorable white tutu!

St Augustine Senior Photographer | Jerry Favorite | Natural Light Senior Photo Session
Tristan was such an easy guy to photograph for his senior portrait session. He has such a cool, relaxed style and looked great hanging around downtown Saint Augustine. From the docks, down cobblestone streets, along the scenic intracoastal waterway and ending at the historical Castillo de San Marcos fort. His mom and dad surely cherish these senior photos which document their son’s journey of life. We wish Tristan all the very best!

In support of our Jacksonville art community and education, Favorite Photography recently participated in a fundraising event by donating a high school senior portrait session. An amazing mom bid on our gift certificate and won the auction for her daughter. Jessica, a talented and sweet graduate from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, wanted a nice but also creative headshot for her resume as she heads off to college in Colorado. These are some of our favorites from the photo session!
Jessica has an exciting future ahead of her, and we’re so glad we got to capture her natural beauty!
