Change Location & Outfits
Kirsten and Stephen decided to book an engagement session with an outfit change. The couple wore a different outfit for the outdoorsy, wooded location and the beach area. Each outfit was beautiful and matched the location vibe we were taking pictures at.
Engagement & Wedding Package
A lot of our brides choose to add engagement pictures to their package. This is such a wonderful time to get to know each other and get amazing photos of the happy couple in a relaxed, fun and comfortable way. Beach Engagement Photographs
Firstly, we love the beach! And Second, we LOVE taking pictures at one of our many gorgeous beaches along Florida’s first coast. This pretty engagement session was at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park in Jacksonville, Florida. Hanna Park is close to the Mayport area and offers beautiful, natural settings. There are nature trails, lakes, big oak trees with Spanish moss, long wooden beach walkovers, sand dunes, sea oats and soft white sand against the dark blue ocean waters. (Also a popular surf spot!)

Dramatic Lighting for Pictures
After sunset it gets dark quick, but can still be a beautiful time for photos. The sky illuminates with vibrant hues. Therefore we often bring an extra off-camera light to capture dramatic images at dusk during engagement sessions.

Simple Outside Wedding
Katie and Josh got married in April 2019 at Guana State Park in Florida. However, the couple decided to take some of their pictures before the ceremony began. The first look, posed couple, and solo pictures were all taken in front of the beautiful greenery.
Being Yourself in Photos
Creating a safe and fun environment is key. We find it very important to make the couple feel comfortable in front of the camera. This allows for the best pictures. So remember, when in front of a camera act like yourself and have fun with it.
As a family team we think it is important to capture every moment of a wedding. This includes the fun candid pictures as well as your formal posed pictures.
Wedding details are everything! Also, who doesn’t like a bedazzled heel?
Custom Cups
Katie and her bridesmaids all had custom glasses that they used while getting ready. They all also had cute matching getting ready outfits that were “photo ready.”
Soft Blues with Green & White Accents
First of all Katie & Jake chose to have leafy green bouquets at their outdoor wedding. Secondly, they chose to have the bridesmaids wear different shades of light blue. Lastly, they tied it all together by having the groomsmen where blue ties.
On her wedding day Katie wore simplistic jewelry. Including a simple line necklace and floral diamond earrings. More is less with this gorgeous spring wedding.
We love Katie’s bridal bouquet. It has a variety of greens mixed with a few white roses. These colors blend in beautifully with their wedding location at a state park.
Katie and Jake kept the decor simple, but elegant. Little details such as blue napkins helped tie in their ocean colors. In addition, they have greenery with candles as the center pieces and on signs.
Boho Wedding at State Park
This gorgeous outside location had a patio overlooking the water. Which is where Katie and Josh decided to say “I do.” They had an elegant white lattice arch with blue ribbons.
Posed shots by the water. After the ceremony we took Katie & Jake by the water to get more pictures of the two of them.
The theme of nature came through on the wedding cake. This simple white cake was draped in colorful succulents and sat on an antique style platter.
Wedding details galore. Our happy couple had their full names written on their champagne flutes.
Guana State Park was the perfect waterside location for this small wedding. The sun set right above the water allowing us to capture these vibrant pictures of the couple during the reception.
Bubble Exit
Their Boho Wedding at a State Park ended with a grand bubble exit. We go crazy for bubbles. Last year we shot a wedding where at the end of the ceremony guests blew bubbles. Check it out here.

Holiday Family Photos
The Daniel family hired us to take cute holiday photographs at their house in Jacksonville. Often times, families prefer shoots at their own homes. We love going on location for any shoot. Hopefully you get some Holiday Family Photo Inspiration from this post.
Importance of Family
When taking pictures of big families we find it important to get a picture of each generations. Here is the grandfather, father, and his two sons.
We are a third generation company, and have been taking pictures for a long time. Therefore, we value capturing every moment for every family. Also, it is important to us that you get the best quality pictures.
Holiday Prop Inspo
This gorgeous couple placed poinsettias all around the property that made the shoot are festive. Also, they used festive boxes and home decor as photo props.
This happy family of three placed their baby in a festive basket that said “do not open until December 25”!
Baby Della
These props were our favorite. We love all the red and green for Christmas. All the colors make for great Holiday Family Photo Inspiration. We also, love the cute “made fresh Candy Cane Lane” box. This grandpa has two babies in his life (his car and granddaughter). On occasion, clients will request that we take special photos of them and their car. We love this because it allows for the families personality to shine through the images.
