Plus, most of them are in walking distance. After the glass factory we took the couple by the water to take pictures. The Glass Factory est. 1936

The Glass Factory was built in 1936 by Henry Klutho. Although the building has held many different operations it has maintained its industrial aesthetic. This rustic look is very original and is great for engagement sessions. Additionally, there are many different spots in the large building that have unique backgrounds.

The Saint Johns River is the perfect backdrop for engagement pictures. For instance, if you time your session perfectly you can get the sun setting. However, the pictures will turn out good regardless.

Night of Lights Surprise Proposal

Historic downtown Saint Augustine is a romantic city. However, the romantic atmosphere is overwhelming during Nights of Lights. This annual event that takes place during the holiday draws thousands of tourists year after year. The city is dressed with twinkly lights that highlight the history of the beautiful city!

This intimate and passionate atmosphere inspires many couples to get engaged. Every year we get a number of inquiries about surprise proposals during the holiday season because of Nights of Lights. We had the honor of photographing Taylor and Joey’s Nights of Lights Surprise Proposal.
