Braulia + Rajesh got Married at The White Room in St. Augustine, Florida
St. Augustine Wedding Photographers Jerry and Karen Favorite | Favorite Studios Photography + Cinematography
White Room Indian Wedding
The White Room is one of the many hidden gems of St. Augustine, Florida. It is a very popular wedding venue. The venue has a lots of options for brides for ceremony and reception locations in their building. Additionally, the White Room is located just a few steps from historic downtown St. Augustine. This White Room Indian wedding was absolutely beautiful. The couple also included an American ceremony.
The White Room has different rooms that brides can get ready in and take pictures. Their bridal suite has a gorgeous mirror and elegant furniture. Great for #instaworthy pictures.
We love the mix of cultures in this wedding. The did both classic American and customary Indian wedding attire. The lovely couple started with an American ceremony. Then followed with Indian ceremonies. They wore rich golds and reds of the decorated Indian garb and detailed henna. The symbolism of joining their two heritages was beautiful.
Two Wedding Ceremonies in One Day
Braulia and Rajesh decided to have two ceremonies in one day. First, they had an American wedding ceremony in The White Room’s Villa Blanca. The bride wore a classic white wedding dress. The bridesmaids wore red gowns. The groom dressed in a dark gray tuxedo suit with a deep red tie and handkerchief. The groomsmen were dressed similar in lighter gray suits.
Outfit Change!
After their classic western wedding the couple changed into traditional Indian wedding clothing and jewelry.
Photographing or videoing weddings with different religions and cultures is one of our favorite. The historical meanings behind these traditions broaden our own views. We witness amazing examples of love and unity across a wide diversity of couples getting married. Click here to see another White Room wedding we did the photography and videography for a Jewish ceremony.
Another popular wedding location in St. Augustine is the Treasury on the Plaza. Both locations are just a few steps from the center of downtown. However, the Treasury is known for its big vault from the old bank. To see wedding pictures at the Treasury click here.
Here’s a couple quick pictures we took of the bride in her stunning Indian wedding lehenga and the groom in his fine sherwani.
Indian Wedding Ceremony
The happy couple wanted to celebrate both Indian and American heritages with their families and friends. Braulia and Rajesh did this by having two ceremonies and reception all in one day. Luckily they had Coastal Celebrations as their wedding planners. Coastal Celebrations did a great job of making sure the day went by without a flaw. Timing is everything on busy wedding days. And had Favorite Studios to photograph all their special moments.
Let There Be Cake!
It is becoming more and more common for couples to do specialty dessert cups along with a wedding cake. We love these portable and delicious treats. They come in so many flavors. So there is something everyone will like. Also, this happy couple had their simple white wedding cake decorated with dark red flowers. The same flowers can be seen in the bride’s bouquet.
Congratulations to the guests that caught the bouquet and garter!
Cheers to the Newlyweds!
Lastly, the happy couple ended their night with a lovely toast and glass of champaign. The wedding reception was held in The White Room’s Grand Ballroom.
Personal Wedding Album Designs
We custom design every wedding album and produce the handcrafted, archival photo books. They are hard-bound with ultra thick, seamless pages. Couples get to pick the images that we use in the album. Additionally, they get to make a final edit before it gets printed. The albums are a great physical keepsake for any wedding. They last a lifetime, just like the memories made that day. Plus, this White Room Indian Wedding in St. Augustine made for a beautiful album.
Addie + Michael got Married at Epping Forest Yacht Club in Jacksonville
Jacksonville Wedding Photographer Jerry, Karen, and Hannah Favorite | Favorite Studios Photography + Cinematography
Jacksonville Wedding Photographer
Throughout this blog we will go over the details of Addie & Michael’s wedding. They got married at the Epping Forest Yacht Club in Jacksonville, Florida this past September. The Epping Forest Yacht Club is a great wedding venue because of its romantic ambience and long history. This distinguished Jacksonville wedding venue combines old architecture and modern amenities that are great for weddings. Plus it photographs beautifully.
Wedding Invitations
While the bride is getting her makeup done we like to take detail shots of her dress and accessories. First, we used the macro lens to get sharp close up images of the rings. Second, we hung her wedding dress up for pictures. Lastly, we arranged the invitations and Addie’s accessories for some photos. Additionally, we included her gorgeous bouquet to tie in her wedding colors.
Groom & Groomsmen Picture Ideas
The bride and groom booked a two photographer package for their wedding. This is great because we can be in two places at once and capture every moment. Likewise, we can get the pictures of the groom and his groomsmen before the ceremony. This helps save time later during formal pictures.
The Epping Forest is known for having numerous locations/backdrops for pictures. Jerry took pictures of the groom and his groomsmen by the water and on the iconic stairs.
First Look Wedding Photos
Addie and Michael decided to do a first look before their ceremony. Michael, the groom, waited at the bottom of the stairs as his bride to be, Addie, walked to him. We love capturing these special intimate moments.
Outside Wedding Ceremony & Reception
Addie & Michael had their wedding ceremony at the Epping Forest Yacht Club Gardens by the water. Luckily, it was a beautiful sunny day and their faces were illuminated by the sun. The couple also had an outdoor cocktail hour and reception. The cocktail hour took place by the grand fountain. On the other hand the wedding reception was held in the garden and by the water.
Florida weather is always a guessing game. Couples always run the risk of having it rain on their wedding, but this wasn’t the case for the bride and groom. As a Jacksonville wedding photographer we have had multiple weddings that have had to work around the rain, but they made it work. Additionally, it was a beautiful day that was not too hot for Addie & Michael’s outside wedding.
Bride & Groom First Dance Pictures
Couple Pictures at Sunset
Outdoor venues offer the opportunity to take pictures of the bride and groom at sunset. The Epping Forest Yacht Club is a waterfront location. We took the bride and groom down to the water for pictures with the colorful sky. Florida sunsets are the best! Recently we photographed a wedding at Guana State Park, and it had the most beautiful sunset. To see more click here.
Personalized Wedding Details
A wedding is all about the bride and groom. As a result many couples customize decorations to match their personalities. Often times couples add a memorial table to honor family members who were unable to attend the wedding. For instance the picture above is of Addie & Michael’s table that displays their lost loved ones. On the other hand, couples will customize little details like candy. Addie & Michael had cute personalized Hershey kisses that had their names on them. They also had special cocktails that represented each one of their dogs. So cute!

Modern St. Augustine Wedding
Saint Augustine and Treasury on the Plaza Photographers: Jerry, Karen, and Hannah Favorite | Favorite Studios Photography + Cinematography based in St. Augustine, Florida
Downtown Saint Augustine, Florida
Jamie and Brian got married in the Spring of 2019. The happy couple picked us as their Treasury on the Plaza photographers to document their wedding day memories. From getting ready, details, candids, posed shots, guests, family, friends, festivities to the very end. After the ceremony we took the couple and their bridal party outside for pictures. We took a variety of classic poses and lots of fun, modern pictures of the bridal party.
Jamie’s bouquet had blush roses, soft greenery, and maroon ribbon tying it all together. Additionally, we took a macro photo of the couple’s wedding bands on the bouquet to get colorful detail pictures of the rings. Check out those diamonds!
Jamie had a bedazzled floral hair piece that matched her earrings. Her hair was styled in a low twisted bun for a beautiful updo.
St. Augustine Wedding Photographers
Rain does not stop us. Sadly, we could not go outside before the ceremony to get pictures of Jamie and her bridesmaids. However, we were able to get pictures of them inside the Treasury’s lovely entrance hall foyer.
“I cross my heart & promise to give all I’ve got to give make your dreams come true. In all the world you’ll never find a love as true as mine.” Adorable custom wedding ceremony sign.
The One in White
Jamie wore a gorgeous lace wedding dress with a fitted silhouette, v-neckline and elegant shoulder straps. For the ceremony she wore a modern, mid length veil with a thin crystal trim.
When taking pictures of big groups we find it very important that everyone is having a good time. And when we say big, this was a bridal party of 19 total! Taking fun photos like this really helps keep the mood positive. Also, they make for super great pictures. In this case, we had the groomsmen hold the bride under the gazebo.
Castillo de San Marcos Wedding Pictures
Following the ceremony we took the newly weds downtown for private, romantic pictures. Their smiles were truly infectious, and you could see the love in their eyes. After taking pictures outside, we went back to The Treasury to use the historic gold elevators and grand window as backdrops.
Treasury on the Plaza Photographers
The Treasury on the Plaza offers wonderful lighting packages. Including, some with custom projections of the couples names/initials. Also, couples can choose to have a cloud of fog during their first dance. Jamie and Brian took advantage of the magical fog to get even more magical pictures. For another wedding at the Treasury on the Plaza click here.
The happy couple had a mouthwatering display of pretzels. Guests could take a pretzel and close from any one of the sauces as an appetizer.
Classic Sparkler Grand Exit
Jamie and Brian said goodbye to their guests with a bang! Guests lined the streets of downtown St. Augustine, Florida with sparklers.
Katie & Jake’s Boho Wedding at Guana State Park
Jacksonville Wedding Photographers; Jerry and Karen Favorite | Favorite Studios Photography + Cinematography based in St. Augustine, FL
Simple Outside Wedding
Katie and Josh got married in April 2019 at Guana State Park in Florida. However, the couple decided to take some of their pictures before the ceremony began. The first look, posed couple, and solo pictures were all taken in front of the beautiful greenery.
Being Yourself in Photos
Creating a safe and fun environment is key. We find it very important to make the couple feel comfortable in front of the camera. This allows for the best pictures. So remember, when in front of a camera act like yourself and have fun with it.
As a family team we think it is important to capture every moment of a wedding. This includes the fun candid pictures as well as your formal posed pictures.
Wedding details are everything! Also, who doesn’t like a bedazzled heel?
Custom Cups
Katie and her bridesmaids all had custom glasses that they used while getting ready. They all also had cute matching getting ready outfits that were “photo ready.”
Soft Blues with Green & White Accents
First of all Katie & Jake chose to have leafy green bouquets at their outdoor wedding. Secondly, they chose to have the bridesmaids wear different shades of light blue. Lastly, they tied it all together by having the groomsmen where blue ties.
On her wedding day Katie wore simplistic jewelry. Including a simple line necklace and floral diamond earrings. More is less with this gorgeous spring wedding.
We love Katie’s bridal bouquet. It has a variety of greens mixed with a few white roses. These colors blend in beautifully with their wedding location at a state park.
Katie and Jake kept the decor simple, but elegant. Little details such as blue napkins helped tie in their ocean colors. In addition, they have greenery with candles as the center pieces and on signs.
Boho Wedding at State Park
This gorgeous outside location had a patio overlooking the water. Which is where Katie and Josh decided to say “I do.” They had an elegant white lattice arch with blue ribbons.
Posed shots by the water. After the ceremony we took Katie & Jake by the water to get more pictures of the two of them.
The theme of nature came through on the wedding cake. This simple white cake was draped in colorful succulents and sat on an antique style platter.
Wedding details galore. Our happy couple had their full names written on their champagne flutes.
Guana State Park was the perfect waterside location for this small wedding. The sun set right above the water allowing us to capture these vibrant pictures of the couple during the reception.
Bubble Exit
Their Boho Wedding at a State Park ended with a grand bubble exit. We go crazy for bubbles. Last year we shot a wedding where at the end of the ceremony guests blew bubbles. Check it out here.
Tabitha + Vincent’s Real Wedding at The Lightner Museum of Downtown Saint Augustine, Florida
St. Augustine Wedding Photographers; Jerry and Karen Favorite | Favorite Studios Photography + Cinematography
Video Packages
Jerry is our main videographer. We offers special bonuses to the brides when they book video. For example, Jerry sets up multiple cameras during the wedding ceremony. All of the different angles make the video flow better than most. At the end of this blog is a quick 2 min video of Tabitha and Vincent’s wedding. In addition, you can check watch our other videos on our Vimeo.
Has Anyone Seen the Rings? Tabitha had custom signs made for her big day.
The One in White
Tabitha wore a stunning white mermaid dress for her wedding. Her dress was also covered in beaded lace. Most noteworthy, is the plunging neckline and her pearl necklace. Along with her bouquet of white roses.
Tabitha and Vincent’s bridal party was filled with energy. Their Real Wedding at the Lightner Museum was magical.
Real Wedding at the Lightner Museum
Tabitha and Vincent planned time after the ceremony for pictures. Therefore they had time to take beautiful photographs.
We love our cake here at Favorite Studios. Especially the ones with cute or funny toppers. For more wedding blogs and cake inspo check out our most current post.

Personalized Album Wedding Design
Many brides choose to get an album included in their photography package. Most importantly, each album is individually designed (no templates). Plus the bride picks every photograph. Not only do we design, but we print and bind each album by hand.
Classic Jacksonville Wedding Photographers
Lauren and her father did a first look before the wedding ceremony. We love shooting these happy moments because of the smiles!
We’re in love with Lauren’s classic wedding dress! Firstly, her jeweled sash is beautiful. Secondly, is her floral lace mermaid wedding gown. Last but not least, we found her cap sleeve lace illusion breath taking.
Gold, gold, and more gold. We love these sequin bridesmaids dresses.
Lauren and Drew got married at St Johns Presbyterian Church.
St Johns Presbyterian Church
Lauren and Drew’s first kiss as a married couple!
“Love is Sweet” party favors. Custom labeled jars filled with mints.
The Florida Yacht Club
This seaside location was perfect for pictures. In addition, it was the perfect location for their reception. Guests were able to look out of the windows to watch the sun set behind the Jacksonville skyline.
Did someone say cake? Lauren and Drew had a simple white, gold, and black wedding cake. Most importantly the cake tasted fabulous.
Jacksonville Wedding Reception
We pride ourselves in capturing almost every moment. However, it is hard to be in two places at once. In other words, the more photographers the better. For example, if this wedding had only one photographer we may not have gotten this picture of the bride and groom dancing.
Lauren and Drew exited their classic wedding with style! All guests were given sparklers to light up the couple’s grand exit.

Kirsten + Stephen Hand’s Traditional Spring Wedding
We loved shooting the Hand’s Traditional Spring Wedding in Jacksonville, FL this year. We shot their engagement photos earlier this year at Hanna Park. Also, engagement sessions are great because they give us a chance to collaborate with the couple before the big day.
“Love laughter & happily ever after” wedding sign.
Kirsten wore her medium length hair in a classic up do on her wedding day. She also braided in a beautiful hair accessory.
The bridal bouquet for this colorful spring wedding included soft shades of pink, peach, and blush. The pastel colors of Spring!
Wedding Location: Jacksonville Golf and Country Club
We are just in love with this Jacksonville wedding venue. We shot Sheri + Michael at this same venue in 2017.
Did someone say polaroid? Kirsten and Stephen had a table dedicated to their photo guest book during their wedding reception. They even had their pwn wedding hostage #Handinmarriage. SO CUTE!
First dances don’t always have to be traditional. Kirsten and her father decided to speed up the beat and dance their feet off. They also decided to wear matching glasses that said “bride” and “father of the bride”. Now that’s a father daughter dance!
Sparklers!!! Kirsten and Stephan Hand left there wedding in style. Guests were all given sparklers to fly high during the newly weds grand exit.

Wedding Details at the Treasury on the Plaza
Brandie and Josh’s Saint Augustine Winter Wedding at the Treasury on the Plaza was filled with vibrant purples and gold. Their silver wedding rings sparkled. Especially next to Brandie’s colorful bouquet.
The Treasury has it all. Not only does the venue has a location for the ceremony and reception. It also, has rooms for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready for the big day.
Brandie and Josh both wrote their own wedding vows bringing tears to our eyes. We have noticed that more and more couples haver been choosing to write their own personalized vows. We love this because it really shows the love the bride and groom have for one another.
Usually we take the bridal party outside for pictures with the beautiful downtown backdrop. Sadly, it was raining the day of Brandie and Josh’s wedding. This did not stop us! We still captured the joy of the wedding in the gorgeous lobby of the treasury.
Brandie’s colors consisted of dark plum, black, and gold. In addition she had symmetrical draping and a cross as the background for her ceremony.
Most weddings do a little something special fro their guests. Brandie and Josh gave all their guests camera to capture the evening.
Did someone say money tree? Brandie and her father work together for a non-profit, Jay Fund. With that in mind they had a money tree where quests could attach money for the cause.

The high and white ceilings create a soft image for any wedding ceremony.
Lovely travel themed details with the “guest globe”. Guests had the opportunity to write their best wishes for the newly weds on the globe. We love this twist on the traditional guest book.

Sara + Kyle’s Gorgeous Ceremony and Reception at the Renaissance | World Golf Village Autumn Wedding
Saint Augustine Wedding Photographers: Jerry, Karen and Hannah Favorite | Favorite Studios Photography + Cinematography
Saint Augustine Wedding Photos at the Notorious World Golf Village Resort
Sara and Kyle’s November wedding took place at World Golf Village Renaissance St. Augustine Resort. The outdoor location provided exquisite lighting, making the pictures come out beautifully.
As photographers we try to capture every moment, from the bride getting ready, first kiss as husband and wife, to the grand sparkler exit.
First Look
Wow… Our favorite part of our job is not just capturing the event, but the emotions people have. Transferring the moment Kyle sees his future wife in white into a photograph is an honor.
Classic detail shot of the Groom’s tux and his “Star Wars” tie clip. His lavender boutonnière matched perfectly with his purple tie and handkerchief.
The florist that provided these breathtaking lavender and purple flower bouquets was Aime Peterson Fabulous Flowers.
Say cheese! The happy couple shares a kiss as their bridal party smiles and poses.
Gorgeous tear drop ring makes for the perfect detail shot!
Just wait until you see her! We just adore the signage held by the little ring bearer during Sara and Kyle’s wedding ceremony procession.
After the outdoor World Golf Village Renaissance La Terrazza wedding ceremony, we took the bride and groom around for some shots of the two of them. They were such a pleasure to shoot with their big smiles!
Special Shot Requests
We have a drone that on special request will take to any wedding to take a unique shot of the couple or bridal party.
