Matt and Adri had a beautiful, intimate wedding this spring. Their lovely ceremony and reception was held at the spectacular Serenata Beach Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Enjoy some of our favorite pictures Jerry photographed of their enchanting wedding day:
Though the unpredictable weather turned spring showers into major thunderstorms most of the day, it amazingly cleared up just long enough for Adri and Matt to have their dream of a delightful outdoor ceremony. The view from the deck overlooking the beach with lush green vegetation glistening from the morning rain was breathtaking.
As soon as the ceremony was over the rain picked back up, but that didn’t dampen the mood of this festive wedding party! The covered terrace at Serenata offered a perfect spot, protected from the storm with a pretty vista, to photograph the formal (and not so formal) pictures.
The reception was fun with little touches and decor accenting their beach themed wedding!
Best wishes to the new Mr. and Mrs. Senecal!

When Tracy and Greg moved back to Jacksonville they wanted to continue the tradition of having an annual photo session of their kids. We love the fact that they chose Favorite Photography to capture these treasured moments.
Jerry had a blast photographing Kobe and Griff around the historic Treaty Oak and infamous Friendship Fountain showcasing downtown Jacksonville’s skyline. They had been looking for a special location that was unique to Jacksonville and really represented their new home. We think these two spots are perfect, offering a great variety of natural and modern backdrops.
Looking forward to next year’s Jones Family photos… and maybe heading to the beach!

Welcome to baby Connor of proud parents, Charles and Tejal! This adorable boy arrived towards the end of winter and we got to meet him when he was still teeny-tiny.
We love beautiful naked baby pictures… sleeping and so sweet. What an angel! A great idea for the newborn photo shoot is to bring some personal baby items like a custom knit cap or blanket. Maybe something old that you had as a kid or matches the color scheme of the baby nursery.
What an amazing blessing you are to your mom and dad. We know you are already growing bigger, changing and exploring more every day.
Go Gators! For baby boys (or girls), bring your favorite team paraphernalia, ball or toy.
Soon you will be introduced to Florida life – playing in the sand,
riding waves, throwing a football and rooting for your favorite team
(thinking it’ll be the “Gators” if your parents have anything to say
about that)!
Lots of love and kisses. These are memories to cherish always. Nothing is sweeter that cute little noses, baby fingers and toes.
Congratulations to the the McLeod family and thank you for giving us the opportunity to photograph your precious baby.

Wow how time flies! We can’t believe the first month of 2013 is already over with! This first month was wonderful and we can’t wait to see what is in store for the rest of the year.
Home improvement projects, Karen’s birthday, and a very special event shoot rounded out the rest of our month. We hope you had a wonderful January!
Wow! We couldn’t get it to fit all in only one post. So, here’s the continuation of our favorite photos from Shannon and Matt’s wedding. Read on below to hear more from Shannon about her special day…
Shannon told us: The White Room was a venue that I had always imaged my reception being
held. It is one of the most beautiful receptions halls in St. Augustine
with so much character. The flowers where simple and elegant, provided
by FlowerWorks. The dessert bar had cupcakes by Sweet City Cupcakes and
the wedding cake was provided by Publix Bakery.
Looking back on
the wedding ceremony and reception, there where so many good moments.
But what sticks out in my mind is the bringing together of families and
friends and how much fun everyone had! It is such a rare occasion that
so many people you care about come together in one place to celebrate
one occasion, the love Matt and I felt that night is indescribable. Lets
do it again! -Shannon
The notorious ‘skinny’ mirror. It’s worth checking yourself out in for sure!
Check out their SmileStand photos: open style photo booth by Favorite Photography at their reception. Don’t forget to look back at Part I: Shannon and Matt’s ceremony at the Lightner Museum.
– We love catching beautiful moments
that will be cherished for a lifetime and we’re honored to have had this
opportunity to photograph Shannon and Matt’s wedding. Thank you!

We love that every wedding is unique and filled with precious, unforgettable moments and amazing details.
If you’re in the planning stages or reminiscing about your own wedding, you’ll enjoy reading Shannon’s insight into their special day:
“Well, this wedding was a long time in the making! When Matt proposed to me we had already been dating 7 years! We then had a long year and a half engagement before finally ‘tying the knot’! Needless to say, having a long engagement does not mean less stress, it just means having more time to think of things you ‘need’ at your wedding and I became quite the ‘do-it yourself bride’! I made the card box, the cupcake stands, and more…”
“When Matt arrived at the White Room to drop off all the ‘homemade accents and accessories’ , his car was packed to the brim! Poor guy! But, for all the work and stress the ceremony and reception where as beautiful as I had imaged!”
“The Lightner Museum Courtyard was romantic and intimate with the sun beaming down through the trees and the guitarist playing in the background. I was so nervous that the tulle in my dress would get stuck on the bridge but it turned out perfect!”
“After the ceremony was over, all the guest where taken to the reception hall on one of St Augustine’s famous trolley’s, really a cool addition!”
To be continued…

Jerry had a fun engagement session with Holly and Daniel in St. Augustine. They went on a mini-tour of some of our favorite spots in St. Augustine for photos.
Isn’t this path just beautiful? We love the trees with the Spanish moss hanging, giving a true Southern feel to photos. Holly and Daniel couldn’t stop holding hands and smiling. We absolutely love this time in a couple’s life together.
A perfect sentiment for a couple about to be married. Daniel serenaded Holly with his guitar, which is something she really loves.
Holly did a great job coordinating their wardrobe for the engagement session, giving them complimentary colors and styles. She looked gorgeous in this cool sea foam top.
We wrapped up the engagement session with one of Holly and Daniel’s favorite activities – fishing! The sweet couple enjoys spending time on the water and we live in the perfect place for that!
A kiss to end the evening is our favorite!
Jerry also created a fusion video of their engagement session. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Thank you for including us in your special life moments, Holly and Daniel, we can’t wait til your wedding!

Caution! Big smiles, silly faces and goofy grins are on your horizon.
Shannon and Matt had a fabulous wedding reception at the White Room. The bride and groom and their guests enjoyed tons of fun photos.
Shannon excelled at incorporating amazing DIY elements for her reception including some of the cool photo booth props. Her aunt even made this wonderful backdrop in beautiful sea greens and blues that matched her color scheme. We also had a great time making some custom signs and props for this special occasion.
Shannon said, “The open photo booth was a hit and a great addition added by our photographers, Favorite Photography!”
Karen recently had a sweet baby session with little Aubrey and her family.
We love all of the adorable expressions that Aubrey was giving. She is such a happy baby!
Favorite Photography has been there for quite a few special events in the Kirsch Family. Karen has photographed their wedding, son Gavin’s newborn through 1st birthday photos, and now the latest cute addition, daughter Aubrey’s life stages (Mom’s maternity session, one month, and now the four month session). We love watching families grow and being able to capture all the exciting times.
Big brother Gavin wanted to get in on the fun to! We know he’s going to be a great brother for Aubrey, and we can’t wait to see the two of them grow up together.
Just look at those little baby feet! And Aubrey’s smile just melts your heart – such a cutie pie!
One last family picture before we finished the session, and this ended up being one of our favorite shots of the day. We love the interaction of everyone, and the great togetherness this photo brings.
Thanks to the Kirsch Family for bringing such sweetness into our job!
