Flagler College
Flagler College is a liberal arts college in the heart of downtown Saint Augustine. Its historical campus is the beautiful backdrop for pictures. Additionally, the school takes part in nights of lights which is an internationally renown light attraction.
Lightner Museum Pictures
The Lightner Museum is a museum of antiques. The museum is located within an historic Spanish Renaissance Revival style building. Its bright yellow doors and vibrant pink flowers make for the perfect backdrop. Plus, it has some iconic stairs that are picture perfect. It’s free to walk the perimeter of the building, and take pictures. Likewise, this beautiful family’s neutral outfits photographed wonderfully. Most importantly, against the historic building’s bright colors.
Downtown Saint Augustine Photographer
We are a family owned and operated photography studio located in Saint Augustine. Therefore, we know some of the best places for pictures in the city. And we love what we do! It fills us with joy and purpose. Additionally, downtown is great for senior pictures. We have photographed a handful of senior pictures in the city of lights. The Channel Side is a newer wedding venue located in Palm Coast. Their waterfront location is perfect for any wedding. They have a beautiful outdoor space that is great for wedding ceremonies. Channel Side has lots a spots for pictures. Their venue has a little something for everyone.
Sunflowers & Wedding Rings
Sunflowers are a symbol of happiness and longevity. Plus, their vibrant colors are absolutely stunning. Some could argue that sunflowers are almost as common as roses as wedding flowers. To match the country aesthetic of sunflowers this couple chose a simple wooden box to hold their rings. There is a beauty in its minimalism.
First Touch
This happy couple chose to do a first touch after getting ready. This practice is intimate and heart warming. While being unable to see one another they reach their hands out for one another.
First Look Inspiration
Just like the first touch, the first look is an intimate moment shared between the couple.First, the bride taps the groom on the shoulder to signal for him to turn around. Then the groom stands to face his beautiful bride. Lastly, the couple share a personal moment. We recommend posing the shot before having the bride approach the groom.

Outside Wedding Ceremony
At Logan & Shane’s wedding they brought in a wooden arbor covered in sunflowers. The DIY wooden arbor fit the vibes perfectly. Additionally, they had a sign that read “pick a seat, not a side, you’re loved by both.’ This wooden heart sign is was one of the many details at the wedding ceremony. We love these custom wooden signs.
Unity Sand Ceremony
The pouring of multicolored sand is symbolic of two people coming together in matrimony. The sand is poured into a glass container and then sealed forever. Logan & Shane had a heart shaped glass that they filled with blue and white sand. We love this symbolic gesture of pouring sand during a wedding ceremony.
Couple Pictures
We recommend that couples plan in about one hour for cocktail hour. While guests are having ordures and drinks, we like to take pictures of the bride and groom. Locations like The Channel Side have lots of photogenic spots for pictures of the newlyweds.
Small Bridal Parties are in!
As we all know, many weddings were postponed or reduced the guest count because of covid-19. However, many couples also chose to have smaller bridal parties. This happy couple chose to only have a maid of honor and a best man for their wedding.

Covid-19 Wedding Favors
Wedding favors are a long standing tradition associated with tying the knot. Many couples gave out masks and had sanitizer during the pandemic. At this wedding they put clever stickers on the hand sanitizer with their names. These custom details are what make a wedding special. Additionally, there were sunflower seed wedding favors. These custom favors said “let love grow.”
Fun Games for your Wedding Reception
Time to party! Wedding receptions are a time to dance and celebrate the new married couple. In addition to that, some couple choose to play a game. The game pictured above is when a characteristic is said and the couple raise the shoe of who fits it best. This game is guaranteed to make everyone laugh!
Custom Golf Cake Topper
This wedding three tier cake has white frosting, blue ribbon, and sunflowers. Any golf fanatic would love this custom cake topper where the bride is dragging the groom.
Glow Sticks
One way to add to your wedding reception is to give guests glow sticks to dance with.
Intimate Last Dance
An intimate first dance is when everyone, but the couple and photographers leave the reception. A pre-picked song is played and the couple shares a final dance to end the night. We always feel honored to be a part of this moment because of how special it is.
Grand Glow Stick Wedding Exit
An alternative grand exit idea is to give your guests glow sticks. This grand exit idea is bright and colorful.

Beth + Andrew had a Tucker’s Farmhouse Wedding | Florida Wedding Photographers Jerry and Karen Favorite | Favorite Studios Photography + Cinematography
Tucker’s Farmhouse Wedding
The main barn on the property was built in 1986. However, the first wedding to take place on the property didn’t happen until 2013. This unique location hosts weddings of all sizes and always photographs beautifully. Tucker’s Farmhouse is a full service location that offers set up, decorating, coordinating for the ceremony and reception. Additionally, the farmhouse does the breakdown and cleanup.
We loved walking around this rustic farmhouse with the couple for pictures. There are tons of picture perfect spots scattered throughout the property. Additionally, the area is lit up at night by twinkly lights that make the night even more magical.
Cheers!
While the bride finished getting the final touches done with hair and makeup we got pictures of the bridesmaids. Each bridesmaid had a violet robe and custom socks. They sat on this trendy couch and cheered to the happy couple.
Light Blue Bridesmaids Dresses
Recently, a lot of brides will let their bridesmaids pick which style of dress they prefer and just require it to be a certain color. This trend is great because it allows the bridesmaids to pick a style that they feel the most confident in. Also, each bridesmaid had wore flats for comfort and practicality. Even the bride wore a pair of sparkly white Keds.
Ironman Wedding Details
Who doesn’t love superheroes? This groom was a huge fan of Ironman and decided to wear socks and cufflinks that demonstrated that. Additionally, each of his groomsmen wore Marvel themes socks. In the pictures to follow you can see them showing them off. Over and above that, each groomsmen got a custom glass pint with their last name on it (shown below). These are a great gift to get your groomsmen.

Happily Ever After
We’ve all heard a story where the price and his princess ride off into the sunset, and live “Happily Ever After.” Tucker’s Farmhouse has a sign for pictures that reads “Happily Ever After” that sits on an antique couch by the barn. This is one of the many picture perfect spots on the property.
Candid + Posed Wedding Pictures

Traditional Wedding
This happy couple got married at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Augustine. They had a beautiful ceremony at the grand church in downtown. After their ceremony all guests migrated to the River House just a mile down the road for the cocktail party and then reception.
Morning of Wedding Letters
Lauren + Thomas wrote letters to one another to read before their wedding. While reading her letter Lauren was overcome with tears of joy. We’ve seen more and more couples doing these letters and we are here for it. They are sentimental and set a good mood for the day.
Wedding Rings
Wedding rings symbolize the never ending love of a couple. Her engagement ring has a princess cut diamond and a twisted band. As they say, diamonds are a girl’s best friend.
Cathedral Basilica of Saint Augustine
The Basilica was built in 1797 and still stands to this day. The old church still holds regular mass services. It is a common place for couples to get married. It has vibrant stained glass that line the walls and a grand alter. This couple had a traditional catholic wedding ceremony. Also, we were able to get shots from above as the father walked the bride down the isle.
Lets Take This Outside
We like to take a few formals of the couple, bridal party, and family right after the ceremony. However, we also like to goo outside for a few more pictures. During this time is when we get most of the pictures of the bride and groom.
There are many beautiful places scattered in downtown that are great for pictures. One great place is the Lightner Museum. It has lots of pretty architecture and plants that look good in photographs.
“Act Natural”
Some of the best pictures are more natural or even candid. We want everyone to feel comfortable and confident when getting their pictures taken. On the other hand, we also make sure to get some more serious posed pictures. Often we tell the groomsmen to lean on one another and stand more casual to get more “natural” pictures.
Generations
We are totally here for these types of pictures. Brides often want a picture with the wedding bands of parents and grandparents. These sentimental photos show the love of past generations.
Saint Augustine River House Wedding
Just a little walk from the heart of downtown Saint Augustine, Florida is the Saint Augustine River House. This riverfront property hosts a number of events, including weddings. From the dock you can see the historic lighthouse and the blue waters of the Matanzas River.
When guests first arrive at the River House they walk through the building and sign the guest book. Then they can go down by the water with their specialty cocktail or hors-d’oeuvre. Next they’ll relax and wait to be brought into the reception hall and take their seat. Finally, they’ll clap and celebrate as the newly weds enter the reception.
Cake of Macaroons
This aesthetic wedding cake with macaroons and edible gold flakes stole the show. It might have been hidden in the corner, but it definitely caught people’s attention. The unique design and soft pinks and peaches helped set the mood. Additionally, the personalized wedding topper includes the couple’s corgi and cat.
#Selfie
As wedding photographers we find it just as important to capture candid moments just as much as the posed pictures. We want our clients to look back on their wedding pictures and remember all the great memories.
Pictures at Sunset
Locations like the River House are great because they offer an outdoor and indoor setting. During sunset we took the happy couple outside for some pictures. Theres nothing more romantic than pictures at sunset over the Matanzas River.
Intimate Last Dance
Recently, more and more of our clients have chosen to do a last dance. This is when everyone (except the photographers) goes outside or into another room. So that the couple can dance to one last song together. This intimate moment is one of our favorites to capture because of how special this moment is. Not to mention, it makes for some spectacular photos.
Horse & Carriage
If you’ve ever been downtown then you’ve probably seen one of the horse and carriages before. They are a staple of downtown. Often couples who get married downtown will rent one for the evening and ride around the streets after their grand exit.

Lauran + Whitney had an Amelia Island Beach Wedding at the Ritz Carlton
Florida Wedding Photographers Karen and Hannah Favorite | Favorite Studios Photography + Cinematography
Amelia Island Beach Wedding at the Ritz Carlton
The happy couple had their wedding ceremony on the beach, and their reception in the Ritz Carlton ballroom. Additionally, the couple and their guests all stayed at the hotel for the weekend. This is very convenient, especially for guests who come from out of town. Being able to walk from the ceremony to the reception area is trouble-free.
Personalized Details
Each wedding is unique to the couple. Often times, couples will add sentimental trinkets to their wedding. Lauran and Whitney did this by adding their grandmother’s brooches to their bridal bouquets. This sweet addition to their wedding made the day a tad more special. Also, it is a great way to remember family members that couldn’t be at the wedding.
First Look!
The Ritz Carlton in Amelia Island has a long natural lit hallway that was the PERFECT location for this first look. Lauran walked down the long hallway to her beautiful bride so they could see one another in their dresses for the first time.
Mrs & Mrs Balloons
This beautiful same-sex couple purchased two “Mrs” balloons to take pictures with. We love this creative and cute idea! Props always look great in photographs.
Intimate Wedding Ceremony
This pandemic has been difficult for everyone. Many of our customers have had to completely change their wedding. The original efficient for this couple was unable to make it to the wedding, and made an audio recording that was played during the ceremony. In the two pictures above the brides are getting emotional over the surprise recording.
This Amelia Island Beach Wedding at the Ritz Carlton was beautiful. Beach weddings are really common here in Florida, but we never get tired of photographing them. Click here to see some cool beach engagement pictures.
Fashion can be Practical
This adorable custom leather jacket actually saved Whitney from freezing. You can’t tell in these pictures, but it was freezing at Amelia Island this February day.
Picture of all the Guests
After their wedding ceremony was over we gathered all the guests together for a big group shot. It’s great getting pictures with everyone especially when most family members are from out of town. Additionally, all the guests were given leis to wear because Whitney went to university in Hawaii (another one of the personalized touches).
Time to Party
We are here for their energy! Everyone was on the dance floor having the time of their lives. The guests were even using the decorations as make-shift microphones! We love capturing these candid moments during every wedding reception.
