If you are thinking about a scheduling your wedding during the holiday season, take a look at the Bartel/Shobe wedding here! Brad and Autumn are an amazing couple from Michigan. They planned their Saint Augustine destination wedding and the Florida weather sure beat the cold northern winter.

The Casa Monica Hotel was the perfect spot for the bride and her bridal party to get ready and conveniently located in walking distance to the glorious Cathedral Basilica of Saint Augustine.

They had a beautiful wedding ceremony service at the Cathedral Basilica, rich with history and full of family, friends and God’s love. What a wonderful start to their celebration of marriage.

The Lightner Museum provided a picturesque backdrop for Brad and Autumn’s wedding party and family formal photos. They were such a fun group to photograph, and even the rain that came didn’t dampen spirits.

I love this shot on the left of their rings on a Christmas ornament! The Casa Monica was gorgeously decorated for the holidays and a great compliment to the reception decor of cool teals with peacock feathers, flowers and pretty details.

We are very blessed to have been chosen as their wedding photographers and was super excited by Autumn’s review she wrote on the Wedding Wire: “I was a destination bride so I had to choose a photographer from afar. Let me tell you how lucky I was to fall into the hands of Karen. Her and the assistant were so easy to work with! We ran a little bit behind at the reception but they even stayed late (mind you this meant they were taking pictures for like 9 hours) to make sure we got our first dance photographed. And of course what really matters is that the pictures are EXCELLENT! We are so pleased with how they turned out. Thanks so much Favorite Photography!”

We can hardly believe Cesar and Kim’s one year anniversary is already right around the corner.  We love looking back and reflecting on all the wonderful moments and details of their wedding day.

The purple and lilac color scheme mixed in with soft creams and deep aubergine is still one of our favorites. Everything took place at the charming Marsh Landing Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Favorite Family Photographers | Vilano Beach | St Augustine, Florida | by Favorite Studios

Spring is here and we’re enjoying the perfect Florida weather right now. Many spring break vacationers flock to the First Coast to bask on our beautiful beaches and tour historic St. Augustine. It’s a hot spot for families to get some peaceful rest and relaxation. We love meeting and photographing awesome families from around the country and even the world that come visit.

Though Florida is great year round! The Geier Family from Arizona visited last summer. They took advantage of the perfect opportunity to schedule a professional family portrait session.

Vilano Beach was a lovely backdrop for creating these family memories. I especially like how Jerry captured the love and togetherness with casual poses and candid moments. Our family photo sessions are always a lot of fun!

We also work very hard to photograph a variety of pictures, from individual shots to family groupings in a diversity of different poses, as well as the carefree lifestyle photos of truly unposed moments.

The Geier family loved their vacation photos and we hope they’ll come back to visit again soon!

Daniel and Holly had the perfect spring wedding at the Country Club of Orange Park. We had an absolute fabulous time photographing their ceremony and reception. They are such a wonderful couple and super fun! Their love for each other just radiates in all their photographs.

Karen had the pleasure to create their custom wedding invitations. We loved incorporating their spring color scheme of coral, green and yellow.  The colors and design worked so wonderfully, we also used similar elements when designing their wedding album.

Their wedding day details, flowers and decorations all tied in together so beautifully.

These are some of the Carter’s wedding album page layouts we designed in-house at Favorite Photography. Every wedding is so unique and custom, and we feel the albums should reflect that. We hope you enjoy looking through their wedding day memories as much as we do.

The Hortmans are one of my ‘favorite’ (pun intended) families. I still vividly recall Patty and Matt’s wedding in May of 2008 off the St Johns River. They’re an amazing couple and have three awesome kids. Enjoy viewing some beautiful pictures from their natural Florida family photography session.

I had a pleasure of photographing their family pictures in 2010 soon after the arrival of their first boy and again last year which included a new adorable little addition.  It also happened to be Matt and Patty’s 5th wedding anniversary!  What a great way to celebrate their lives and their family.

This was truly a blessed day and the Florida weather was perfect. Washington Oaks Gardens is a breathtaking location (even though this lovely old fallen oak tree is no longer here).

I have really enjoyed looking back through these family pictures and hope you do to! It makes me appreciate and love my family even more too.  “This is our happily ever after.”

We love the coquina rocks on this area of beach in Palm Coast. They make some of the best family beach sessions.

We certainly had a fun-tastic photo shoot and I look forward to the next time the Hortmans visit Jacksonville/St Augustine area again!

Gregory and Megan Renacs are looking forward to their one year anniversary on April 13th.  They had the most charming and romantic country wedding. We recently enjoyed reminiscing through all their beautiful pictures to share some of our favorite photos from their lovely outdoor ceremony and reception with you now.

Leather cowboy (or we should say ‘cowgirl’) boots, fresh wildflower bouquets, mason jars with bunches of baby’s breath, and lace ribbon were just a few of the wonderful little accents Megan used to infuse some country into her special wedding day.

We will always remember Mr. and Mrs. Renac’s wedding and thank them for
letting us be a part of their special moments and capturing these images to treasure forever.

Megan was rockin’ her dress, and Greg was looking pretty dandy too, the day after their beautiful country wedding!  Jerry had a blast photographing some fun, natural and romantic pictures around stunning downtown Saint Augustine.

The best part of a “Day After” photo session is that the bride and groom are so relaxed and happy.  It’s a no stress, just hanging out and being in love moment that the newly weds will remember for many years to come!

“The Best Day of Our Lives!”

How we got engaged… Taylor planned a romantic scene in our backyard one evening before “date night”. He surprised me with roses and our favorite song. The most important part was the speech. The words he spoke brought tears to my eyes. He got down on one knee and asked to marry me. I said, “Yes!” We are so happy to be spending our lives together.

Our wedding… My wedding day was everything I dreamed about. We had a beautiful ceremony and joyous reception at the St. Johns Golf & Country Club. We used lovely details in bright fuchsia, vibrant yellows and soft greens. Thanks to my wonderful photographers Jerry and Karen Favorite, I am able to have those memories for a lifetime.

Favorite Photography did such a great job capturing every single moment of our special day. The pictures are absolutely breathtaking.  Every time I look at the photos, it’s as if I’m reliving my wedding day all over again. Wedding Flowers & Décor By Parker Events

I can’t stop smiling every time I look through the Taylor family photo session. They are such an adorable, happy family and their smiles are contagious! Mitch and Melissa are blessed with an amazing family and two great kids.

Every portrait session with Favorite Photography is original and different. There are so many wonderful moments we recall from every photo shoot.  This one has a few that stand out.  I’ll never forget when the sweetest, cutest little three year old pushed her charming brother into the water fountain.  Both kids were so shocked, but I think we can safely laugh about it now.  I tell this story because, honestly, these two kids were truly well behaved and had a great time.  When you have children (Jerry and I have three), you learn to expect the unexpected and roll with it.  The Taylors dried themselves off and came back for round two with great aplomb.  I love it!

We enjoy photographing family portraits on location at our beautiful Florida beaches, but if you’re
looking for something a little different, there’s nothing better than
historic downtown Saint Augustine.  There is an unlimited number of
unique and beautiful backgrounds all within walking distance.

It was an honor to photograph the Taylor family, capturing the traditional posed photos along with the fun, candid moments. Our little photo journey started at The Lightner Museum and ended near the Bridge of Lions. Such a lovely day full of wonderful memories. Thank you!

Justin and Melissa had a fabulous engagement session in St Augustine, Florida.  Jerry had a great time photographing them around historic downtown and Vilano Beach. 

We designed a really cool signature guest book with some of their favorite pictures.  These are some of the photo layouts used in the custom album which was a big hit at their wedding reception.
